Restaurants and Bars
Over many years, Marcus has accumulated a varied and accomplished folio of food and restaurant imagery. He is adept at capturing the brand, ambience and features of restaurant interiors. Marcus can usually be found shooting launch nights and soft openings, and has a long-term relationship with some of the most prestigious restaurants in Nottingham. The subjects of his culinary shoots have included Marco Pierre White, Curious Manor, The Hockley Arts Club, Oaks, The Loom, The Walton Hotel, HomeMade and The Malt Cross.
Marcus has a broad knowledge of the food scene in Nottingham. He enjoys a large social media following, and always promotes the venues that commission his work. As well as food and interior shots, Marcus will deliver excellent reportage shots, including staff during service.
Marcus Holdsworth’s restaurant and bar commissions are not limited to Nottingham. His skills have brought to life dishes served in restaurants and bars across the UK and his images are used regularly on websites and in the press; including promo shots and third party websites worldwide.
As well as highlighting the beauty of the food, Marcus has a creative attitude to presenting cocktails and drinks. He has a history of styling as well as shooting food, but is also comfortable working with a food stylist. He can shoot on location or in his industrial-sized studio.

“Commissioning Marcus Holdsworth to produce a portfolio of our food and restaurant was a sound commercial decision. His stunning imagery beautifully showcases the restaurant that we’ve worked hard to create, and gives our website visitors a mouth-watering preview of what to expect should they come to eat. Customers regularly comment that they’re tempted by what they’ve seen on our website.” Jules Restaurant, Weobley.
